Stay classy St. Louis

The St. Louis Cardinals’ fans, for some reason, are referred to as “the best fans in baseball”. Just ask them, they will be sure to tell you. In fact, there is a whole twitter feed dedicated to them aptly named @BestFansStLouis

I will hide the twitter posts behind a tab to issue a bit of a warning: if you do not want to read a variety of racial slurs, gay slurs, or rants by exceedingly dumb “fans”, don’t click Read More.

Additional disclaimer: I fully understand that not all Cardinal fans are like this. Also, there are Brewer fans that are exactly the same as these idiots. But like Republicans that don’t agree with the rampant racism and sexism in their ranks, yet do nothing but ignore it and act like it doesn’t exist, all Cardinal fans are culpable if they act like it doesn’t happen and do not condemn this behavior.
(Edit: I had to clean it up because it wasn’t posting cleanly. You get the gist. Also, I changed none of the (mis)spelling in any of the twitter posts.)
