The Brewers somehow pulled a sweep out of thin air by scoring 5 runs in the 8th and 9th inning to win 9-7 over the Pirates. The comeback couldn’t have come at a better time, because the Cardinals swept the shit-bag Astros earlier. The Brewers stay 2.5 back from the Cards and move into a brief tie with the Dodgers, pending the outcome of their game against the Nationals that is in progress. Currently the Nationals are up 3-1 in the 4th inning. If the Dodgers can’t come back the Brewers move 1/2 game ahead of them. The hapless Pirates drop a game under .500 and if they don’t get their act together they will suffer their 20th straight losing season. (hahahahaha)
