Brewers win again, send Pirates back to .500
The good news is that the Crew won again, but unfortunately won’t gain any ground on St. Louis (probably), because the Astros are garbage. Houston has actually been playing better of late, but that isn’t saying much. The Dodgers split a double header with the Nationals today, so the Brewers are only 1/2 game behind them. The Pirates drop below the Phillies in the standings and are now pretty much done as far as the playoffs are concerned. The way they are playing it is looking like a 20th straight losing season may actually happen.
