It is going to be difficult pulling for the Cardinals to win a game or two against the Dodgers
The Cards and Dodgers embarked on a 4-game series tonight (tied at 1-1 in the 7th) and a split would be the best case scenario for the Brewers. The Phillies lost tonight to fall 1/2 game back from the Brewers.
This is me. can’t they just…both lose or tie or something?
That would definitely be nice. Right now St. Louis is up 2-1 and neither team looks particularly good. Somehow the Cardinals 4-7 hitters have been on base a whopping 11 out of 16 times yet they have only 2 runs (and one was scored by someone hitting in the 9 spot.)
